
ST. TAMMANY PARISH GOVERNMENT OFFERS UPDATE ON HURRICANE IDA RECOVERY
ST. TAMMANY, LA. – St. Tammany Parish Government provides an update on the recovery efforts following Hurricane Ida.
“We are relieved to see our rivers are going to crest below forecasted levels,” said President Mike Cooper. “We can now shift our concerns into recovery and restoring our Parish to normalcy.”
The rivers St. Tammany Parish Government have been monitoring, with the exception of the Bogue Chitto and Pearl River, crested last night at levels below projected.
The lower levels are mostly attributable to the low amount of rainfall received after the initial pass of the storm……………
